Genealogy at Home with HeritageQuest

The library provides access to two free genealogy websites: Ancestry Library Edition and HeritageQuest. Unfortunately, HeritageQuest is often overlooked as a genealogical resource given the name recognition of Ancestry.

Users may not be aware that HeritageQuest contains many of the same records as Ancestry LE, provides access to more international records, and is available at home.

In the first third of this meeting, librarian Paul McNeil will discuss HeritageQuest's collections. After the demo, while everyone does research, Paul will talk one-on-one to address brick walls or answer general questions about HeritageQuest or Ancestry. This is also a time to share research and strategies with other genealogy enthusiasts.
