Tweens and Teens, join us for an afternoon of chess! Game basics will be taught but the emphasis will be on playing chess. Feel free to bring your own board. Group will meet every Monday afternoon; no registration required.

Sandy Miller will lead a discussion of Jeanine Cummins' novel American Dirt. Participants are encouraged (but not required) to read the book in advance. Ask for a copy at the library’s information desk.

The Hancock County Public Library Board meets on the second Tuesday of every month unless specified otherwise. These sessions are open to the public.

Teens (grades 6-12) drop in to explore the world of robotics and coding. All necessary materials will be provided.

This final day of the Friends of the Library book sale is clearance day. A standard paper grocery bag full of books sells for $3; a plastic grocery bag for $2. Bags are provided.

The Individual Educational Program (IEP)

Kids (ages 3-7 with an adult) come join us for an evening storytime of stories, songs and fun. Bring your favorite pal (stuffed animal) and wear your pajamas.  (Pajamas for kids are encouraged but not required).
