Join us for an evening with William J. Fisher (Bill), a Fortville native and graduate of Mount Vernon High School, as he discusses his latest historical fiction novels. Explore the rich narratives of "Cruel Road," a finalist in the 2021 New Mexico-Arizona Book Awards, and "The Price of the Sky," celebrated for its authentic portrayal of American history.

Fisher spent 20 years as an officer in the United States Air Force, specializing in scientific and communications-electronic fields. After retiring from active duty, he pursued a career in business and land development, as well as community planning in New Mexico. Now an author residing in Sandia Park, New Mexico, Bill infuses his novels with his diverse experiences and meticulous research, creating immersive historical worlds for readers to explore.
