Program Description

Your writing doesn't have to be perfect, just better. In fact, “perfect” is a trap to avoid. Just get better. Myra Levine will give you practical advice on how to start the process of improving and gaining confidence. Be prepared for short writing prompts.

You’ll have fun--promise. Myra spent 14 years writing her first novel, Revenge of the Soccer Moms. She'll tell you how to write your story with less pain and anguish and more fun. You'll get tips on becoming a published author, too. Come prepared to write.

Myra's appearance is sponsored by the Library's Writers Helping Writers group. Join a community of writers who gather for inspiration and support. People who attend this monthly meeting, whether they are published or not, discuss their work and give each other mutual encouragement. Their next meeting is on Thursday, February 20 at 6:00 PM.
