Program Description

Join us at the first meeting of our new cookbook club, where foodies and home cooks are invited to sample recipes and discuss cuisine on the first Monday of each month. Participants bring a prepared, homemade dish and its recipe to share with the group and then serve up their experience in making it.

We'll start our first meeting with the theme "New Year, New You!" Interpret the theme as you like. Bring a dish you've never made before, or cook something with ingredients you've never worked with. Try out a recipe that adheres to that new diet you've started. Or use the new kitchen appliance you just got for Christmas and tell us about it.

If you were unable to attend the callout meeting in December, please contact Nicole Scurlock at nscurlock@hcplibrary.org or (317) 462-5141, ext. 215 for information on how to participate.

To help you get started, the library offers almost 1,600 cookbooks in various forms. View the collection here.
