Program Description

Do you have an electric programmable pressure cooker? Have you been interested in getting one, but you aren’t sure how to use it? Then join us for "Cooking Under Pressure!" You'll learn how to use an electric pressure cooker, about food safety, and how to make healthy recipes.

This program will be offered via Zoom. A link to join the virtual class will be emailed to you before the event. You may download and print the handout on this page, or ask us to print one for you at either library location.

About the Instructor: Cheryl Jones, Health and Human Services Educator at Purdue Extension, Hancock County, provides research-based education to the community within the areas of food and nutrition, human development, finances, and health and wellness.

For your privacy, and to improve the presentation, participants' video will be turned off by default. Only those registered in advance will be admitted into the meeting. We'll use the "raise hand" and chat features in Zoom to let the presenter know that you have questions. Join the Zoom meeting on any device with internet access that is capable of using the Zoom application (phone, tablet, or computer). Broadcasting your own audio or video during the class is entirely voluntary.
