It's bargain day at the Friends of the Library book sale. A standard paper grocery bag full of books sells for $3, a plastic grocery bag for $2.

Proceeds fund library concerts and special children's events.

This is the first week in a 5-week yoga series ( Mar.10-Apr. 7) at the Sugar Creek Branch in New Palestine for both beginning and advanced students. Susan Goodart, a certified yoga teacher and fitness adviser, instructs the classes.

The Hancock County Master Gardeners will host a "Green Thumb Project" in collaboration with the Hancock County Public Library.

As requested by library users, this monthly club is a social gathering to work on your existing projects in a group setting and glean information from each other. Feel free to sit in.

Teens (grades 6-12), come do what your parents never allow: take apart electronics! We'll supply all tools and gadgets.

Kids, grades K-5, compete against friends during this month's challenge to build an object using only one color of bricks. The day's creations will remain on display in the children's room for a month.

Adults who love reading novels written for teens are invited to a discussion in New Palestine. March's selection is Kiss of Deception by Mary E. Pearson. We encourage you to read the book in advance.

Join us for a fun-filled evening of friendly competition as the library holds its 4th annual trivia contest. Entry is free! 

Teams (up to six members of all ages) can consist of friends, family, coworkers--anyone.

Develop a thick skein among this social circle, open to congenial people of all skill levels. Beginning and experienced crafters offer advice on each other's handiwork. Bring supplies for a project.
