Get in the holiday spirit! Create an ornament to decorate your tree or to give as a gift. All materials will be provided.

Kids and teens (ages 9-18), find your inner craftiness! Join our club that meets once a month for snacks, a small craft, and lots of fun!

Kids (pre-K to grade 3), listen to Jan Brett's book, Gingerbread Baby; make gingerbread Play-Doh; and decorate a paper house for your own gingerbread baby.

Tweens, ages 8-12, create a vibrating robot from everyday materials. Follow step-by-step instructions to build a basic, moving robot. Then add finishing touches to make it your own. Awards will be given for the most original robots.

Kids in grades 1-5, play fun and wacky games as we get ready for the holidays. We'll join in reindeer games with candy canes, wrapping paper, and holiday cheer.

Kids, grades K-5, make the holidays special with homemade ornaments. Form clay shapes using cookie cutters. Then paint them with festive colors. 

Families, welcome, welcome, fah Who foraze. Watch a cartoon feature based on the book HOW THE GRINCH STOLE CHRISTMAS, by Dr. Seuss.

Adults who love reading novels written for teens are invited to this discussion in New Palestine. December's selection is Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo. Ask for a copy of the book at the circulation desk. Book jacket description:

Bring the family to this all-ages, holiday craft night at the library. Everyone can make and take home a Christmas ornament to add to your tree. All materials are provided for this free event. Children must attend with an adult.

Go the whole nine yarns among this social circle, open to congenial people of all skill levels. Beginning and experienced crafters offer advice on each other's handiwork. Bring supplies for a project.

Adult fans (ages 20 & up) of anime & manga are welcome to enjoy Japanese pop culture with Librarian Jesse Keljo each month. The flow of Japanese comics and movies into the United States has created a subculture of enthusiasts.
