Tweens and Teens, join us for a round or two (or five) of chess.

The group will meet every third Thursday of the month, from 4-5PM. Drop in! No registration required. 

August 15 (GBC Community Room)

Impromptu means “done without being planned or organized.” And that is exactly what we are going to do at this biweekly after-school hangout. Play board games, Switch games, start a D&D campaign, watch some anime with us.

Youth of all ages can pick up a chess set and play anywhere in the Children's Room. Program is drop-in; no registration required.

Teens (ages 13-18) have some quiet time while enjoying their current read. Wear your jammies, bring a snack, and a chair, pillow, or blanket to get comfy. Please bring headphones for audiobooks. No book? No problem - we have plenty!

Teen Storymakers (formerly Homeschool Writing Club) is a creative writing club for strictly ages 12-17, no younger siblings.  

Teens and Tweens ages 10-17 are invited to join online and play Dungeons & Dragons with the Sugar Creek crew. New and experienced players welcome. Materials will be provided.

Tweens and Teens (ages 12-17) come join us for some festive fun in making Christmas Stockings for donation! Paint, stickers, stockings, and festive decals will be provided! This does count as volunteering and will earn you an hour for it!

Families, join in holiday activities, have treats, and watch the original Grinch movie. Kids are encouraged to wear "Grinch" items or your best PJs. Bring a pillow and blanket to make yourself comfortable during the show.

Join us for an interactive screening of the iconic holiday movie Elf (2003). Attendees will be given a small bag of props to use to feel like part of the movie. We will also have popcorn (while supplies last).

Join us for the Holiday Sing-along Show with Wendy Reed!

Wendy is a powerhouse vocalist who grew up in Indiana and graduated from Carmel High School.

Kids of all ages, meet and feed live reindeer! We will also have other reindeer games and activities. Program is an open house format so no need to register; just drop in anytime between 5 to 7 pm.

Teens (grades 6-12) drop in to decorate the most festive holiday cookie! We will watch classic Christmas cartoons while we decorate. Cookies and decorating supplies will be provided. 

Come and learn English Country Dance--the style of dancing seen in your favorite Jane Austen movies! For ease in dancing, please wear smooth-soled shoes. Festive attire is always admired, but not required.
