Upcoming Events

Q: Where can tweens ages 9-13 go for an awesome hour of trivia fun?  A: Sugar Creek Trivia Time!  Compete as a team or try your luck going solo. Each team member must register individually.

Join us for a round or two (or five!) of chess. Boards are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own. Chess Club meets every third Thursday of the month. No registration required.

A new book club for 3rd, 4th, & 5th graders! We will be reading "Frindle" by Andrew Clements. Please come ready to discuss the book. Registrants will be notified by email or phone with pick up information.

Youth of all ages can pick up a chess set and play anywhere in the Children's Room. Program is drop-in; no registration required.

Tweens and Teens (ages 12 - 18) join us in the community room for some classic Wii games and some snacks! 

Come enjoy a chill afternoon/early evening watching a movie with fresh buttery popcorn (while supplies lasts)! All ages are welcome.

Teen Storymakers is a creative writing club for strictly ages 12-17, no younger siblings.  

Teens and Tweens ages 10-17 are invited to join online and play Dungeons & Dragons with the Sugar Creek crew. New and experienced players welcome. Materials will be provided. 

Teens (grades 6 - 12), drop in to play tabletop games! Mini versions of your favorite classics will also be available to play.

Introverts (ages 10+) have some quiet time while enjoying your current read. Bring what makes you comfy (chairs, pillows, etc) - wear pj's if you feel like it! Please bring headphones for audiobooks. No book? No problem - we have plenty!

The Hancock County Public Library Board meets on the second Tuesday of every month unless specified otherwise. These sessions are open to the public.
