Where Does Your Money Go? (Evening 1, Virtual)

Rethink how you're currently spending money, and make a plan for future spending in this free budgeting workshop from Purdue Extension. Here's what you'll accomplish during this two-part series:

• Evaluate your spending habits.
• Identify spending leaks.
• Determine spending priorities.
• Set spending goals.
• Create a spending plan.

This financial education program will be offered via Zoom. A link to join the virtual class will be emailed to you on the day of the event. You may download and print the handout on this page, or ask us to print one for you at either library location.

The sessions occur one month apart. Registering for this 7:00 p.m. workshop will automatically register you for the second 7 p.m. workshop on November 9.

And registering for the 1:00 p.m. workshop will automatically register you for the second 1 p.m. workshop on November 9.

Please register for either the afternoon or evening series. You must participate in the first session to join the second.

About the Instructor: Cheryl Jones, Health and Human Services Educator at Purdue Extension, Hancock County, provides financial education through the "Where Does Your Money Go?" curriculum.  In her role, Cheryl provides research-based education to the community within the areas of food and nutrition, human development, finances, and health and wellness. She'll be joined by another HHS Educator from a surrounding county to assist with the training.

For your privacy, and to improve the presentation, participants' video will be turned off by default. Only those registered in advance will be admitted into the meeting. We'll use the "raise hand" and chat features in Zoom to let the presenter know that you have questions. Join the Zoom meeting on any device with internet access that is capable of using the Zoom application (phone, tablet, or computer). Broadcasting your own audio or video during the class is entirely voluntary.
