Understanding Medicare Supplement & Drug Coverage

Although you may have a basic understanding of what Medicare is and how it works, this workshop gives a deeper understanding of Medicare supplement insurance and Part D Prescription Drug coverage.

Medicare supplement insurance plans are separate policies that work with Medicare Parts A and B. Medicare Part D (Medicare’s prescription drug benefit) is private insurance that subsidizes drug costs for Medicare enrollees. You will learn how these programs work together to meet an individual's health needs.

Ivy Rose Casey from Humana, a private Medicare Advantage insurance organization, will help participants develop an increased understanding of these programs and the terms they use, so participants can make informed choices about their coverage.
