Teddy Bear Care Clinic

Children, ages 2-9, and their families are invited to attend the "Teddy Bear Care Clinic." The clinic helps to ease their fear of the doctor's office by preparing children for medical visits.

Kids bring along one of their stuffed animals as a surrogate patient and experience what a visit to the doctor's office is like.

The visit starts in the waiting room, where families can listen to a storytime. Then the stuffed friend will be weighed and measured; have their blood pressure and heartbeat checked; and, finally, meet with a doctor.

This clinic is a partnership with the Hancock Physician Network and Healthy 365.
