Program Description

Microsoft Word is the word processing software used by millions of people and companies throughout the nation and the world. Without a doubt, Microsoft Word is the industry standard in virtually every business in Indiana and the nation. If you work in an office or business that uses computers and produces documents, it is very likely that Word is being used. If you are looking for a job in an office environment, the ability to use Word is very important. This workshop will be a practical step-by-step introduction to Word and how to get started with it.

This workshop will cover:

  • Creating and saving a document
  • Text formatting
  • Document formatting
  • Moving text
  • Columns, Bullets, Margins, Indents
  • Spelling & Grammar checks
  • Customized bullets & Symbols

  • This workshop is not for people with little or no computer experience.
  • Having skills like copy/paste are a must before taking this workshop.
