Local author Kyle Willis presents his debut Young Adult novel, Jason Phoenix and the Demon Lamp. Willis will speak on the process of writing, editing, publishing, and marketing a book; read excerpts from his novel; and offer book signings.

The Greenfield-Central High School and Hanover College graduate and Columbus, Indiana resident channeled personal heartbreak into a story about a normal teenage boy who, through a deal with a seductive female demon, finds himself with incredible power. That power comes at a cost, and Jason Phoenix is both thrilled and terrified as he adjusts to his new abilities. Along with great power comes great responsibility, and Jason is charged with not only fighting a gang that is pushing a deadly drug on the residents of his town, but also trying to save his best friend and lifelong crush from what seems like certain doom.
