An Evening with Steve Jeffris

In a rich baritone, Steve Jeffris entertains his audiences from beginning to end--some gospel, some rock 'n' roll, and a bit of country humor. His peers refer to him as a "true entertainer," and "the real deal." He sings and accompanies himself on the guitar with no tracks or canned music, just a drum machine to fill out the sound.

Jeffris received his first guitar for Christmas when he was 13 years old. By his junior year in high school, he had started a band and recorded his first album. Since the 1980s, Jeffris has performed with bands and sometimes solo. He has produced and recorded 25 albums, 11 that are currently available.

Jeffris makes a variety of appearances at fairs, festivals and special events throughout the Midwest. He resides on the southeast edge of Indianapolis with his wife Sharon on a rural property they affectionately call Jeffris Junction.
