Program Description
Musician Dianna Davis began her career as a classical pianist and clarinetist but has since expanded into folk, jazz, and improvisation. After hearing a gypsy band that thrilled an audience and moved them to dance wildly to music, she knew gypsy jazz was the kind of music she wanted to perform. Besides her clarinet, Dianna plays the accordion and sings with band members who play guitar and bass.
A 2017 "Creative Renewal Fellow" for the Arts Council of Indianapolis and a three-time Indiana Arts Commission grant winner, Dianna received her Masters of Music in clarinet performance from Indiana University.
