Program Description
Meet Abraham Lincoln the evening before Flag Day as he recounts his formative boyhood in Indiana (age 7-21), where he loses his mother and sister, teaches himself to read, and learns the value of hard work.
Then he's off to Illinois for prairie lawyer years, life with Mary and sons, as well as debates with Stephen Douglas before time in Washington, Civil War tragedy and triumph, not to mention freedom for slaves.
