There will be no single book for discussion this month. Rather, join Brown Bag and discuss a book from when you were younger that you have reread. Any title is acceptable, from The Cat in the Hat to The Hobbit to Macbeth.

Participants will talk about the book they read. Some things to consider and be prepared discuss:

  • A brief outline of the plot points, themes, symbolism, conclusion
  • What did you remember about the "moral of the story" before reading it again and now
  • When did you first read the book?
  • Why is it important to you after all these years?
  • Did it still teach you a lesson?
  • Is a story like this still relevant or approachable for a kid in 2023?
  • Has your opinion of the book changed?
