Program Description

Learn how to write a story from start to finish with author Annie Sullivan. The program covers the ins and outs of creating strong characters, developing well-rounded plots, world-building, and writing stellar first lines. There will be time for questions.

Annie Sullivan is the author of the young adult novels A Touch of Gold, Tiger Queen, and A Curse of Gold. She lives in Indianapolis and loves fairytales, everything Jane Austen, and traveling and exploring new cultures. When she’s not off on adventures, she’s working as the senior copywriter at publishers John Wiley and Sons, Inc., having also worked there in editorial and publicity roles.

Annie will lead the talk via Zoom. Registration is required for this virtual workshop, and a link to join will be emailed to you on the day of the event.

If you'd like to read Annie's first book before this event, ask for a copy at the New Palestine information desk; or ask a librarian to have a copy sent to Greenfield by courier.

For your privacy, and to improve the presentation, participants' video will be turned off by default. Only those registered will be admitted into the meeting. We'll use the chat and raise-hand features in Zoom to let the presenter know if you have questions. Join the Zoom meeting on any device with internet access that is capable of using the Zoom application (phone, tablet, computer). Broadcasting your own audio or video during the session is entirely voluntary.
