This is the first week in a five week series (May 19 -June 16) in Greenfield for adults beginning yoga. Susan Goodart, a certified yoga teacher and fitness adviser, instructs the classes. Yoga increases strength, stamina, and flexibility and has been credited with improving mental health.

Use a chair or the floor depending on your abilities. Bring a mat or towel and a small pillow, and wear loose-fitting clothes. People with health issues should speak to their physicians before beginning any exercise.

A $25 fee for the entire series is paid at the first session. Those ages 60+ may attend free.  NOTE THIS FIRST SESSION IS IN THE YOUTH PROGRAM ROOM.  ALL other sessions in the Community Room
