This is the fourth week in a 5-week yoga series (June 23-July 21) at the Sugar Creek Branch in New Palestine for both beginning and advanced students. Susan Goodart, a certified yoga teacher and fitness adviser, instructs the classes.

Larry Battson has traveled all over the world, working with Animal Planet and helping the Indiana Dept. of Natural Resources rescue alligators and other reptiles.

We're celebrating the 200th anniversary of  Mary Shelley's classic novel, Frankenstein. Barb Roark will lead a discussion. Participants are encouraged (but not required) to read the book in advance.

Make a lei while you enjoy watching Moana. In this animated Disney adventure, a teen girl sets sail on a daring mission to cross the ocean and save her people.

The library is alive with the The Sound of Music, a family-friendly musical based on the lives of the Von Trapp family. Drop in to watch the movie and make a goat puppet.

Share the benefit of monthly get-togethers at the "Hancock County 'As I Recall' Storytelling Guild." Those who attend develop techniques that engage listeners. Meetings are informal and open to anyone interested.

Kids entering grades K-5, Aloha! Party with us Hawaiian style. Make a lei, enjoy island snacks, and see how low you can limbo. You won’t want to miss this.

As requested by library users, this monthly club is a social gathering to work on your existing projects in a group setting and glean information from each other. Feel free to sit in.

Kids in grades K-5, bring family members of all ages and join the "New Pal Rocks" craze. Paint rocks and hide them for someone else to find. They'll feel delight when they stumble across your rock and can post a picture on Facebook.

Kids in grades 1-5, use the wind to make music. Construct a two-in-one wind chime/suncatcher to take home.

Children ages 3 to grade 5, read together with teen volunteers over the summer. Be part of "Teens Read the Way," a six-week program that pairs teen volunteers with kids at the library.

Adults who love reading novels written for teens are invited to this discussion in New Palestine. July's selection is Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by J.K. Rowling.

Teen Volunteers from Teens Read the Way (grade 6 to age 19), clebrate your hard work during Teens Read the Way with pizza and a movie. You will recieve your service letters at this party.

Flex your purl power among this social circle, open to congenial people of all skill levels. Beginning and experienced crafters offer advice on each other's handiwork. Bring supplies for a project.

Jaffe combines outstanding technique with a wide range of expression. She'll sing as lead vocalist with Curtis Cantwell Jackson on guitar and Michael Beck on percussion. This trio performs a mix of jazz and pop standards.
