Week Calendar

This is the second week in a 5-week yoga series (10/21-11/18) at the Sugar Creek Branch in New Palestine for both beginning and advanced students. Susan Goodart, a certified yoga teacher and fitness adviser, instructs the classes.

Get a tax break for helping the library. Drop off your gently used books, DVDs, and music CDs at the side delivery entrance (northeast corner) of the library in Greenfield between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Kids, grades K-5, make fun art from construction paper, book pages, newspaper, lots of scraps, and googly eyes!

Kids in grades K-5, get your glow on as we spend the afternoon experimenting, playing, and snacking with things that light up the dark. 

Combustion. Chemiluminescence. Properties of gasses. School-age kids will have a blast watching wild and wacky chemistry demonstrations with Guy Hansen. This event is presented by Eli Lilly and Company.

Tweens and teens (ages 9-18), find your inner craftiness! Join our club that meets once a month for snacks, a small craft, and lots of fun!

Kids in grades K-5, play Minecraft, a game about building virtual blocks into objects that will help you survive after night falls and monsters come out.

Teens (grades 6 through 12) learn basic first aid from Hancock Regional Hospital instructors.

Tweens, ages 8-12, make textured works of art using raised salt and a rainbow of watercolors. This 3-D technique creates a stunning effect that sparkles in the light. All supplies will be provided.

Decorating with ornamental gourds is a creative, natural way to add beauty to your surroundings.

Join a community of writers who gather for inspiration and support. People who attend this monthly meeting, whether they are published or not, discuss their work and give each other mutual encouragement.
