Program Description

Join us for an inspiring evening of original poetry, short stories, essays, and more—brought to you by HCPLibrary’s Writers Helping Writers group. This special open mic event features readings by group members sharing pieces they've crafted and workshopped in their monthly gatherings.

Want to share your own writing? You’re invited to take the mic! A sign-up sheet will be available at the event for members of the public who wish to read. All genres and experience levels are welcome, but please keep the content PG-13.

Writers Helping Writers is a supportive community of local writers who meet monthly to share feedback, exchange ideas, and encourage one another’s creative journeys. Whether you’re a seasoned author or just beginning to write, this is a great opportunity to connect, listen, and be heard.
