Over refreshments, adults are invited to discuss Mackenzi Lee's novel, The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue.
It's an eighteenth century romantic adventure for the modern age. In keeping with the book's theme of two young men on a grand tour of Europe, the library will serve chocolates and teas from across the pond.
Gentleman's Guide is a Kirkus Prize nominee and Stonewall Honor winner with 5 starred reviews. It was named one of the best books of 2017 by NPR and the New York Public Library. The American Library Association describes it as, "A gleeful romp through history."
We encourage you to read the novel in advance. Ask for a copy at the circulation desk.
