Introduction to Homeownership

Have you always wanted to own a home but didn’t know where to start?  Then this is the program for you!  Vickie McIntosh, Mortgage Loan Officer at First Merchants Bank, will teach you how to turn your dream into reality.  Determining how much home you can afford, the steps and timeline involved in the homebuying process, basic terms and disclosures in a mortgage transaction, and the mortgage qualification and application process will be discussed. 

Vickie McIntosh, Mortgage Loan Officer at First Merchants Bank, has over thirty years of lending experience.  A resident of New Castle, she has served on the board of the New Castle Henry County Chamber of Commerce since 2011, holding a wide variety of positions including board president, Events Committee chair, and Scholarship Committee member.  She has served on both the New Castle Girls Youth Softball Board and the Big Brothers Big Sisters Board and is currently a member of the Henry County BNI (Business Network International).
