Program Description
Meet Abraham Lincoln the day after Presidents' Day as he recounts his formative boyhood in Indiana (age 7-21), where he lost his mother and sister, taught himself to read, and learned the value of hard work.
Then he's off to Illinois for prairie lawyer years, life with Mary and sons, debates with Stephen Douglas before time in Washington, Civil War tragedy and triumph, not to mention freedom for slaves.
