Program Description
All ages and artistic abilities are welcome at the Sugar Creek Chalkfest, featuring music by Island Mixtape! Meet us on the patio on the south side of the building to create chalk art. We will also have lawn games and music for the whole family. This is a drop-in program; no registration required. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be moved inside.
Island Mixtape is: Mike Kessler on steelpan and congas, Michael Read (formerly with Roadmaster, Chicago, and the Turtles) on keyboard and vocals, Abby Cole (a young, up-and-coming singer) and Allan Etienne (Haitian jazz master) on congas.
