The Banisters bring a unique sound to bluegrass, gospel, and traditional country with powerful lead vocals, tight harmonies, and strong instrumentals. Roger, who plays mandolin and fiddle, formed the family band with his wife, Jan, who plays electric bass. His sister, Denise, plays rhythm guitar; her husband, John, is on sound; and Dave Hendrick accompanies on banjo.
